The intramural program is an in-town program (no travel to other towns) for players from grades one through six. Teams are organized by grade and children who are Newton residents or who attend Newton schools are eligible to play. Games are played on Saturdays and practices vary by age group.
The Spring 2025 season is scheduled to start on April 5th, 2025 through June 5th, 2025. We do not schedule games over Indigenous Peoples Day Weekend.
Reminder that this is BOYS soccer. We do welcome girls that want to play primarily with boys. If you prefer you can go to
Newton Girls Soccer to register for the girls program.

Players arrive for their time slot, same time and field location each week, and work with a professional coach from our friends at the New England Revolution Academy for 25-30minutes. The second 30 minutes is spent playing a 4v4 game. For 1st grade, we follow the US Soccer 'Play-Practice-Play' model which we believe best affords the players the chance to develop their skills whilst maximizing FUN!
We rely on volunteer coaches at 1st grade to lead the teams. Please consider volunteering to coach when registering your player. You'll receive maximum support with pro coach help on Saturdays! A great intro to the NYS coaching pyramid!
